The Virtual Private Network (VPN) assists with connectivity on and off campus. IS&T recommends and supports L2TP VPN, a VPN that works on a wide variety of operating systems and hardware configurations including IOS 10 or higher and MAC.
There two different VPN services. Please note that there are two different VPN service with the same VPN protocol but different VPN server.
● VPN for internet access. Connecting to the VPN allows you to increase your oversea bandwidth and remotely access many resources like SAIF servers or your Office regardless of your location.
● VPN for SJTU library. Connecting to the VPN allows you to access SJTU library and remotely access many resources like SAIF servers or your Office regardless of your location.
