China Capital Market Project (Prof. Jiang Wang, Chairman) is initiated in the spirit of providing a strong foundation as the leading source for the most comprehensive and accurate historical China database of financial research. CCMP is sponsored by China Academy of Financial Research, a research institute of the Shanghai Advanced Institute of Finance of Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
The project involves compiling, cleaning and codifying the prices, dividends and rates of return of all stocks listed and trading on the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchange since 1992. It is intended to result in an academic research-grade database that remains invaluable to empirical research.
CCMP files provides the following data files: common stocks on the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchange; CCMP indices; China Treasury bonds.
